ContentPays ("ContentPays", "we", "us") is a content-distribution marketplace operating from Lagos, Nigeria. These terms form a binding agreement between you and ContentPays when you create an account or use the platform.
You may register as a Brand (funding campaigns), a Creator / Creator (posting clips), or both. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use ContentPays.
Brands fund campaigns with a defined budget and per-view rate. Creators post approved clips to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, or other supported platforms. Payouts are calculated on verified views only, using platform-reported analytics and internal fraud checks. ContentPays may withhold payouts for suspected view manipulation, bot traffic, or violations of the target platform's terms of service.
Brands retain ownership of the source assets they upload. By joining a campaign, distributors receive a limited licence to remix, cut, and post those assets solely for the campaign. Creators grant ContentPays and the funding brand a licence to display, analyse, and repost their submissions across ContentPays surfaces and social channels.
No fake engagement, purchased views, hate speech, harassment, illegal content, or content that violates the target platform's rules. We may suspend accounts and forfeit pending payouts for violations.
ContentPays takes a platform fee on each campaign, disclosed at funding time. Payment-processor fees are passed through. Taxes are the responsibility of each party per their jurisdiction.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections on IP, indemnity, and dispute resolution survive termination.
ContentPays is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any specific reach, revenue, or campaign performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State unless a mandatory law requires otherwise.
